LMC Section Proficiency Testing Programme: join!
One of the activities of the LMC Section is the Proficiency Testing Programme. Until today, eight studies have been completed. Inter-laboratory studies may be aimed at laboratory performance (proficiency testing), at method evaluation or at the establishment of reference materials.
In proficiency testing, analytical methods are not part of the protocol: laboratories apply their usual methods. Results are evaluated by the study coordinator and laboratories have the opportunity to compare their performances with other laboratories, using the same or different methodology.
